Field Observation

When performing sampling and/or testing on-site, certain circumstances may be observed that have a significant impact on the result of the test. This could be some major works on the water distribution system at the time of sampling. The person performing the test or interpreting the test results needs to know about these circumstances as they can help to interpret the results. Thus, the person taking the samples must record all observations made in the field to facilitate test result interpretation and therefore accuracy of the test results.
