Temperature

Measuring temperature of the water is important for a number of reasons. A minimum temperature may be required for the control of microorganisms in the water. Plotting temperatures across many outlets of a building water distribution system can help to find areas of low flow, which cause water pressure problems or indicate risk areas for microbial growth. Once a water sample is taken, changing temperature can also effect the sample’s chemical properties or dramatically impact microbial growth in the sample.
